Understanding Endometriosis

“Endometriosis is a complex and serious condition that can cause permanent damage to various organs. It is characterized by tissue similar to the lining of the uterus growing outside the uterus, leading to painful symptoms. Despite being a public health crisis affecting millions worldwide, endometriosis is often misunderstood and underdiagnosed.”

Symptoms

“Recognize the signs of endometriosis. Symptoms can include severe menstrual cramps, chronic pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and infertility. It’s crucial to listen to your body and not dismiss these symptoms as normal.”

Diagnosis

“Diagnosing endometriosis can be challenging, often taking 6-10 years for a proper diagnosis. It requires a combination of medical history, physical examination, imaging tests, and sometimes laparoscopic surgery.”

Our mission is to educate the general public about menstrual health and Endometriosis
